The IIJD is committed to working with partner organizations to promote justice and development solutions for a better and safer world. Our partner organizations come from a variety of countries and range from individuals to citizens' groups, public and private organizations to governments. |

The IIJD advocates the establishment of a network of partner organizations to enhance our efforts. This introduces a global perspective in looking at institutional reform, good governance advocacy and global poverty responses. By involving a variety of actors and building comprehensive coalitions, we increase the amount of resources and expertise available towards our reform projects and reach a veriety of audiences in the U.S. and overseas. |

Development Team:

The IIJD’s Program Development Team act as liaisons between international grant funders and IIJD field staff and partners in developing countries. |
||
The team raises funds from a variety of institutional, foundation and corporate donors to provide resources, technical and adminstrative support for field staff and partners on IIJD projects. The team's roles include: |

Locating and diversifying sources of funding for IIJD programs, local projects and the Global Poverty Initiative | |
• |
Facilitating effective implementation of grant-funded programs | |
• |
Promoting improved and expanded technical capacity within IIJD; | |
• |
Representing IIJD programs to U.S. organizations and U.S. Government entities worldwide | |
• |
Advocating on behalf of IIJD’s programs and IIJD’s Centered Community Development programs | |
• |
Fostering a cooperative and beneficial relationship between the IIJD and the business sector | |
